Every month, thousands of Punjab Government employees need their salary slip for a loan, a rent agreement, income proof or their own records. The good news: you can download it yourself in about five minutes from the iHRMS portal. Here's exactly how.
What is iHRMS?
iHRMS (Integrated Human Resource Management System) is the Punjab Government's official employee portal at hrms.punjab.gov.in. It holds your service book, salary details, GPF/NPS information and lets you file your annual property return. Your salary slip (pay slip) lives here too.
What you need before you start
- Your iHRMS employee code / username
- Your iHRMS password
- A phone or computer with internet
Steps to download your iHRMS salary slip
- Open the portal. Visit hrms.punjab.gov.in in Chrome or any browser.
- Log in. Enter your employee code / username and password, complete the captcha and sign in.
- Go to Pay Slip. From the dashboard menu, open the Salary or Pay Slip section.
- Select month & year. Choose the month and financial year you need the slip for.
- View and download. Click View / Print and save it as a PDF, or print a copy.

- Forgot password: Use the "Forgot Password" link and reset with your registered mobile number. If it fails, your DDO can reset it.
- Portal not opening: Try a different browser or check again later — the site is busiest at month-end.
- Wrong details on the slip: Report it to your DDO/office for correction in iHRMS; don't just re-download.
- PDF won't open on phone: Install any free PDF reader, or open it on a computer.
Tip: Save each month's slip in one folder on your phone. When you apply for a loan or visa later, you'll have the last 3–6 months ready instantly.
